Tickets go on sale for all Congress Special Events June 28th. That includes The Equine Chronicle Congress Masters classes!

“Having ended up the #2 APHA USA show in 2016, the support of our exhibitors and owners warranted our expansion of the classes we are offering this year,” says Congress Chair Casey West. “We have contracted additional judges to make this happen. Of significance are the Ranch classes, Ranch Trail, Ranch Pleasure, Ranch Riding and Ranch Reining, offered for regular registry and Solid Paint Bred horses, Youth, Amateur and Open exhibitors. This block of classes will take place in the Mustang Arena, Friday, August 4, and will be judged by eight judges.”

The obstacles may include jumping over or through structures, backing through a pattern, pole bending and/or roll backs, gait changes, various gymkhana games, ground tying, working gates, and riding over or through difficult or spooky objects.

The 2017 MAQHA Corporate Challenge is scheduled to take place July 13-16 in St. Paul, MN. Thanks to donor support, the average scholarship pay out is $3,300 per class for this year’s Youth World Championship Show. Scholarships are awarded in every class through 5th place, and $500 will be awarded to 7th place in Aged Mares and Aged Geldings only. A randomly drawn exhibitor in each class will also receive a $150 scholarship.

The intern must have excellent customer service skills to assist customers with ticket purchases within the Press Office and work alongside the Press Office Lead. Issuing press credentials, setting up media interviews and photo opportunities; helping with content for early morning live newscasts. Will help with Congress events, meetings, and parties.
