The farm only received minor damage with a few uprooted trees, so the main concern is for fellow Florida residents. A new date will be announced as soon as possible.

Continue reading …The Color Breed Congress encompasses three separate breed shows into one. The participating breeds include: the Pinto Horse Association, Palomino Horse Breeders of America and the Appaloosa Horse Club. In addition to specific breed classes, exhibitors will get the chance to compete against one another in the Champion of Champion classes. These classes are designed for winners of certain youth, amateur, and open classes to compete against one another for the true color champion in their respective breed and category.
Continue reading …The Select all-around amateur is Jim Bound of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Bound showed the American Quarter Horse Bound To Cash Chex, owned by Jax Bound of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. The 2007 palomino mare, by Nu Chex To Cash and out of SF Kings Firstlady, was bred by Hilldale Farm of Brashear, Texas. Bound and Bound To Cash Chex earned 45 points. They earned the world champion title in tie-down roping; placed third in breakaway and ranch riding; fifth in stake race; and were finalists in heeling. The duo also won the Select all-around amateur title in 2016.
