These revamped Breeders’ Futurity classes are open to both Regular Registry and Solid Paint-Bred Registry horses that have been nominated to the program. Solid Paint-breds are also eligible to compete in most World Show challenge and sweepstakes classes.

Member feedback aided the AQHA Show Department in crafting the 2018 Lucas Oil World tentative schedule. Based on feedback from trainers, owners and exhibitors, the AQHA Show Department staff made adjustments to how they created the show’s 2018 schedule. AQHA staff also received feedback and suggestions from the AQHA Show Committee before the tentative schedule was approved by the AQHA Executive Committee.

Reason 3: Scholarships! Who doesn’t like the chance to earn money that could help with future education? Current AQHYA members may be eligible to apply for thousands of dollars in scholarships through the American Quarter Horse Foundation.

The Northeast Paint Horse Championship is heading to a new venue for 2018. This year, the show takes place over Memorial Day weekend, May 26–27, in conjunction with the Empire State Paint Horse Club’s Yankee Union POR Show in Cobleskill, New York, and is co-sponsored by the New England Paint Horse Club.

Auburn capped its season by winning the 2018 NCEA team title, followed by wins in the Equitation over Fences and Horsemanship events competitions. Success there helped the Tigers earn the Western and Hunt Seat discipline titles as well. There were seven championships available on Saturday – Auburn went home with five.

The Opportunity Classic, presented by the Ohio Appaloosa Association, will be hosted at the brand new World Equestrian Center in Wilmington, Ohio on June 16-17th.

Along with providing support for the exhibitors of the AjPHA and Open/Amateur World Championship Shows, the company will also be providing a custom saddle to be awarded by APHA.

“The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry” will be renewed Saturday as Georgia and Auburn square off for the fourth time this season. Only this time, much more is at-stake.
