The number of exhibitors for the Nutrena East has more than doubled from last year, causing a shift in the schedule to accommodate the growth. Classes will remain on the same days; however, additional arenas will be used to help keep the show running efficiently. Show management will accommodate potential conflicts.

The 2018 Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) National Championship will be held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, May 3-6. For those unable to attend in person, EQSportsNet will capture every minute of the action in the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex via live stream.

These revamped Breeders’ Futurity classes are open to both Regular Registry and Solid Paint-Bred Registry horses that have been nominated to the program. Solid Paint-breds are also eligible to compete in most World Show challenge and sweepstakes classes.

Member feedback aided the AQHA Show Department in crafting the 2018 Lucas Oil World tentative schedule. Based on feedback from trainers, owners and exhibitors, the AQHA Show Department staff made adjustments to how they created the show’s 2018 schedule. AQHA staff also received feedback and suggestions from the AQHA Show Committee before the tentative schedule was approved by the AQHA Executive Committee.

Reason 3: Scholarships! Who doesn’t like the chance to earn money that could help with future education? Current AQHYA members may be eligible to apply for thousands of dollars in scholarships through the American Quarter Horse Foundation.

The Northeast Paint Horse Championship is heading to a new venue for 2018. This year, the show takes place over Memorial Day weekend, May 26–27, in conjunction with the Empire State Paint Horse Club’s Yankee Union POR Show in Cobleskill, New York, and is co-sponsored by the New England Paint Horse Club.
