Continue reading …New this year, the American Quarter Horse Association is offering a third way for amateur, Select and open exhibitors to qualify their halter horses for AQHA world championship shows*.
The three qualifying methods include:
Qualify by earning the required number of points.
Compete at a designated number of shows during the respective qualifying period (10 for Select and amateur or 20 for open).
Participate in the new nomination pilot program for halter horses.
The second nomination payment for the AQHA Select World Championship Show, presented by Adequan® (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan), is due May 31, 2018.
Over $40,000 in cash and prizes were presented to the big winners in six Halter classes and two Performance classes, including beautiful trophies for Champions and Reserve Champions that were provided by The Equine Chronicle and Cowboy Bronze.
