– Went 1-1 last week for the Skyhawks in equitation over fences and helped lead UT Martin to a 10-5 win over South Dakota State on February 8.
– Earned a 73-71.5 victory over her South Dakota State opponent.
– Named Most Outstanding Performer in horsemanship in UT Martin’s win over South Dakota State.
The First 2 Finish Trail Duel is a head-to-head match up against the clock. It’s a timed race over Trail obstacles where the winner will be crowned based on a combination of time and penalties. The event is open to youth, non pro, and open exhibitors that will compete against each other for their share of a $15,000 purse. Additionally, a $1,000 bonus will be paid out to the highest placing non pro exhibitor in the class.
Continue reading …The No. 1 Auburn equestrian team opened up a busy weekend at the Auburn University Equestrian Center with an impressive 17-0 win over No. 10 UT Martin Friday afternoon. The victory marked the third-straight win over a Top 10 team in 2019 and moved the Tigers to 8-0 on the year.

– Earned a 73-71 victory over her Delaware State opponent on February 1.
– Won her second point of the weekend with a 74-73.5 win over her Auburn opponent on February 2.
This month’s Shorty’s Horsemanship Rider of the Month goes to Texas A&M rider Sarah Orsak. The senior from San Antonio, Texas tallied a 9.5-point victory, her highest margin of victory this season. Orsak helped the Aggies to a 4-1 victory in Horsemanship against South Dakota State.
