Held at the Cardinal Hotel St. Peter Roma—just minutes from the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica—the European Education Summit features two days of instruction with APHA Senior Director of Judges David Dellin and AQHA Senior Director of Judges Patti Carter. Together they’ll cover a wide variety of classes in an interactive format, using APHA horseIQ as a learning tool. Judge applicant testing is offered on the third day and includes a written rule book exam, video testing and individual interviews.

We will award, at the end of the show period, year-end high points in the following divisions: Open Jr, Open Sr, L1 Amateur, Amateur, Select, L1 Youth, 13 & under, 14-18 & Small Fry. (If a particular show has classes leveled, L2 & L3, both levels will count towards that division.) In the non-pro divisions, points will count as a horse/rider combination.

Continue reading …Qualifying is done through participation in each class at Dual Approved or Special Events. Horses in Open classes and horses and riders in Youth and Amateur classes are required to participate in the corresponding dual approved class a minimum of five times within the qualifying period of May 1, 2019 through April 30, 2020. Those who do not qualify may enter with an additional $150 qualification fee per class.
