In our continuing effort to best serve you during these uncertain times, ApHC is committed to the wellbeing of our community. Please take a few minutes to provide us valuable input by answering this short survey.

1. We will appreciate you abiding by SOCIAL DISTANCING guidelines.
– Leave at least one seat between you and other people while in the stands.
– Leave at least 6 foot between each other while in the show office.
– Do not congregate at the entry gates.
– Wash your hands regularly.

In addition, we are excited to bring AQHA members a series of video presentations, which would have taken place at the 2020 AQHA Convention.

The World Equestrian Center – Ohio facility will reopen in April 1, 2021 with an expanded prize list for a spectacular spring and summer circuit. Until that time, we will be busy with a spate of improvements to the facility designed to increase air circulation, reduce barn aisle traffic and allow for social distancing.

Most importantly, entry deadlines are being pushed back, late entry fees are being slashed, and the ApHC has waived the requirement that youth participants must be a member of a Regional Club since so many shows have been canceled as a result of the pandemic. 

The new international section highlights international member programs, events and resources. It will also serve as a place from which international members can easily navigate to other sections of AQHA.com and access relevant registration resources, showing information and other helpful pages vital to completing AQHA business. Furthermore, the international resource pages will house international affiliate contact information, a multilingual resource library, news and updates, and the “On the International Trail” blog.

AQHA Past President Dr. Glenn Blodgett of Guthrie, Texas, will be inducted into the Class of 2021 at the 2021 AQHA Convention in San Antonio. He will be honored at the convention, along with the Hall of Fame Class of 2020, whose induction was postponed due to the cancellation of the 2020 AQHA Convention.

The 2020 Gateway Classic, managed by Kathy Avolt and An Equine Production, was scheduled to be held on May 21-24, 2020 at the National Equestrian Center in Lake St. Louis, Missouri.
