2020 Select World Will Now be Held at AQHA World Show

The 2020 AQHA Select World Championship Show, presented by Adequan® (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan), will be held in conjunction with the AQHA World Championship Show, slated for November 5-21 at the OKC Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City. The Adequan® Select World, originally scheduled for August 31 – September 6 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas, was postponed to help protect the health and safety of Select exhibitors, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Coralee found herself back in the winner’s circle with Elio in 3-Year-Old Geldings. Reserve was Peyton Baxter with Illicit Intention. Third was Kayla North with Ain’t Keepin Secrets. Fourth was Lauren Gralla with Bad An Boujee. Fifth was Lauren Portman with FG Totally Smokin. Kayla North and Ain’t Keepin Secrets was the Level 2 winner and Level 1 winner.

Keeping it Level at 2020 AQHA World Show

Earlier this spring, the AQHA Executive Committee waived the qualification requirements for the 2020 AQHA World Championship Show due to effects of the worldwide coronavirus pandemic on the showing industry. Exhibitors and their American Quarter Horses will still need to meet Level 3, Level 2 and Level 1 eligibility requirements to compete at this year’s show. AQHA has released the list of open and amateur exhibitors who are ineligible to enter and show horses in the Adequan® Level 2 Championships at the 2020 AQHA World Show, tentatively scheduled for November 5-21 at OKC Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City.
