NSBA members who nominate their foals to the Breeders Championship Futurity and/or Color Breeders Championship Futurity increase the value of their stock by making them eligible for an additional $350,000 awarded annually in BCF classes at the World Championship Show each August. Since 2001, the Breeders Championship Show has awarded more than four million dollars in earnings to NSBA members.

Any person who renewed or signed up for a regular or life membership between September 11 and October 7, 2020, was automatically entered to win a John Deere Gator utility vehicle valued at $7,399.

Three APHA members are in the running to fill two available positions on the APHA Board of Directors in 2021. Diane Alves of California, Monika Hagen of Germany and Pat Newman of Illinois will be considered by the APHA State Directors for the open positions; voting takes place at the 2021 APHA Convention, February 26-28 in Fort Worth, Texas.
