With the reunion of the Open/Amateur and Youth World Shows, APHA will be holding a combined Youth and Amateur awards banquet at the 2021 APHA World Show. The banquet will take place in the Round Up Inn room at the Will Rogers Memorial Center on Wednesday, June 30 at 7:30 pm. This banquet will be a great opportunity to recognize some of APHA’s top award winners in both the Youth and Amateur divisions.

The American Quarter Horse Association Executive Committee recently approved the formation of the new AQHA Ranching Heritage Council. The purpose of the AQHA Ranching Heritage Council is to evaluate strategies that create recognition to AQHA Ranching Heritage programs by developing ideas that will add value to AQHA Ranching Heritage programs and Ranching Heritage-bred horses.

APHA Regional Championship Program Approved For 2021

The APHA Regional Championship Program, formerly known as the  Paint Horse Championship Program, has been approved by the APHA Board of Directors with a number of revisions for the 2021 show season. The Long Range Planning, Show & Contest, and Regional Club Advisory Committees all worked tirelessly last year to reduce eligibility requirements for exhibitors so that more members can participate, while reducing the cost of the program to the Association so that it can continue to award supporters of our regional clubs for years to come.
