Countries that experienced the benefit of this grant in 2020 included Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, France, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Panama, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Continue reading …In a special session held March 24, 2021, the Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC) Board of Directors voted to enter into contract negotiations with the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, Illinois, to host the 2022 and 2023 National and Youth World Championship Shows with an option for a third year. The 2022 show would be tentatively scheduled for June 21-July 2.
Continue reading …Modifications to AQHA Bylaws, as well as registration-related items, were reviewed by AQHA members and the AQHA Board of Directors at convention. Per the Association’s bylaws, the board of directors has the final authority when it comes to changes or additions to AQHA’s bylaws and rules of registration. The Association will publish more information at a later date regarding the rule changes recommended by these two committees and approved by the board of directors.
Continue reading …While the Exhibitor Sponsorship Program allows participants a choice of stalling location, they will still need to complete an online stall reservation form. Stall reservations will be paired with the level of sponsorship selected and on a first-come, first-paid basis to determine the order of priority stall placement. The sponsorship determines priority for placement in the exhibitor’s barn of choice, not the exact stall location.

This increase came from a smaller number of points being paid out due to COVID-19 show cancellations. With increased shows in 2021, it is expected for the point value to decrease for the 2021 show year.
