For all participants in the Rookie Program, MPHC paid entry fees for all youth walk-trot, amateur walk-trot, novice youth, novice amateur classes, and respective halter classes. The rookies pay for MPHC office charges, stall fees, and entry fees for any open, amateur or youth classes that they choose to enter.

ID stations are open one hour before classes begin each day, and they close at 5 p.m. daily—make sure your horse is positively identified well ahead of your class, as you’ll need a stamp on the exhibitor numbers to be eligible to show. You can also get your numbers laminated at the ID station after they are stamped.

This will help speed up show results posting, simplify show manager identification requirements and reduce processing and postage costs when it’s fully implemented on January 1, 2015.
