The show has been held in mid-March for the past three years. However, according to a recent survey, exhibitors would prefer the event to be held in May or June. The event typically lasts four days, but AQHA would like to expand it to a minimum of five days.

The 2013 chestnut overo gelding by Hesa Special Hotrod and out of Vested Pine Vicky is owned by Tracey Hoffman of Owosso, Michigan. Tracey and “Cruz” also won the PPS Breeders Futurity 3-Year-Old Non Pro Western Pleasure, earning an additional $2,275.

Fall Show and IQHA Futurity hosted AQHA competitors in the northeast for a fantastic four-judge show with a special event that was held in Newcastle, Indiana. Bound showed American Quarter Horse Bound To Cash Chex, owned by Jax Bound of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. The 2007 palomino mare, by Nu Chex To Cash and out of SF Kings Firstlady, was bred by Hilldale Farm of Brashear, Texas. Bound and Bound To Cash Chex earned 60 points. They earned the world champion titles in tie-down roping and heading, reserve world champion title in breakaway, third place in ranch riding and seventh place in stake race.
