Kate has been active in community service this semester, contributing over 100 hours of community service. She has fostered five dogs and one kitten through an organization called Pawmetto Lifeline, and coordinated the team’s Christmas stuffed animal drive, which benefitted underprivileged children. She also helped host children through the team’s Curing Kids Cancer events at One Wood Farm.

A random drawing for the trailer will take place during the World Show, and each Amateur class entry at the event counts as a trailer entry. So the more Amateur classes you enter at the World Show, the more opportunities you have to win. The winner receives a three-horse slant Platinum trailer with a tack room, and it’s the winner’s to keep.

To date, more than 350 Youth ages 5 to 18 have earned more than $500,000 toward their education goals. The impact of these scholarships lasts forever, and the APHF wants to ensure the scholarship program will, too. The foundation’s $3 million Youth World Scholarship Endowment will mean funds for these life-changing scholarships will be around for generations to come.

Applications are now being accepted for Equine Affaire’s popular all-breed Versatile Horse & Rider Competition—aka “VHRC”–that will take place on Friday, April 13th, in the coliseum at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus. A select group of horse and rider teams will tackle a challenging obstacle/trail course in this timed and judged race for $5,500 in cash prizes and the coveted title of 2018 Versatile Horse & Rider Competition Champion.

If you have a foal sired by one of the stallions listed below that is one year old in 2017, you are eligible to do a paid nomination for the Two-Year-Old Incentive class for the 2018 World Championship Appaloosa Show.

The ABRA World show is followed the next day by The World Wide Paint Horse Congress and then NSBA World Show. With all of these opportunities at one location, it makes a very user friendly environment with a chance to take home lots of cash and prizes to owners, exhibitors, and trainers. ”

Color horses competing in NSBA World Championship color classes at the 2018 World Championship Show will have to qualify by showing to five judges before April 30th to avoid paying a qualification fee.
