PHBA Announces Registration and Transfer Reduction, For Limited Time Only

The Palomino Horse Breeders of America is reducing our registration and transfer fees from January 1st, 2018 through March 31st, 2018. (Postmark) Current membership required when registering or transferring ownership of a horse. Registration special will include Palomino Bred and Color and Conformation Registry. (Horses not registered with another breed association, which PHBA recognizes, geldings, and spayed mares only). All horses must meet all color and conformation requirements.

2018 AQHA Level 1 Championship Tentative Schedules

The 2018 AQHA Central Level 1 Championships is April 10-14 at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City, the 2018 AQHA West Level 1 Championships returns April 18-22 to the South Point Equestrian & Events Center in Las Vegas and the 2018 Nutrena East AQHA Level 1 Championships is May 2-6 at the World Equestrian Center in Wilmington, Ohio. Exhibitors can compete at only one Level 1 Championships each year.

The AQHA Level 1 Championship cattle classes, previously offered in April at the AQHA Central Level 1 Championships in Oklahoma City, are moving to the 2018 Zoetis AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Championships and Zoetis AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenge Finals, which are June 14-17 at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

Largest Single APHA Endowment Reaches $274,000- Rebecca Baker Youth World Show Endowment

Since 2015, the Rebecca Baker endowment has underwritten four scholarships each in three reining classes at the AjPHA Youth World Championship Show, APHA’s all-scholarship horse show held each summer in Fort Worth, Texas. The added funds will allow the endowment to underwrite the scholarships for six classes at all future Youth World Championship Shows, beginning in 2018—that’s a total of 24 separate scholarship opportunities totaling $7,800 annually.
