The TCU Horned Frogs earn two NCEA monthly honors for February. Jayme Omand, a Senior from Sacramento, CA earns Equifit Equitation on the Flat Rider of the Month after posting a 4-0-1 record and bringing home one MOP honor. Sophomore Laska Anderson picks up another monthly accolade with Shorty’s Horsemanship Rider of the Month after posting a 4-0-1 record and two MOP honors. This is Anderson’s second consecutive NCEA Rider of the Month award.

Some of the most notable included Performance Halter for the amateur and youth divisions, adding a Top 20 award for the Amateur Walk Trot division, and a modification to the scoring system for Showmanship, Horsemanship and Equitation. Other noted discussions that I heard about, included the possibility of a competition license for SPB horses to compete with regular registry horses.
