The weekend will kick off with a $2,500 added Open all-girl team roping followed by a $7,500 added #9.5 all-girl team roping in the historic Stockyards Coliseum on Friday, November 13. With two divisions offered and $10,000 added cash, there is sure to be a place for all competitors with huge payouts! Following the all-girl team roping, the Coliseum will host its weekly rodeo with $5,000 added.

Peytyn Gooding had an exceptional day, winning 13 and Under Hunter Under Saddle and Novice Youth 13 and Under Hunter Under Saddle, with Platinum Cowgirl, and placing third in 13 and Under Equitation. Making this win even more special is the fact that her best friend, Lexi Hauck, was the Reserve Champion in 13 and Under Hunter Under Saddle with CR Love Like Crazy.

“It was kind of strange,” Maggie’s mother, Tiffany, said. “She has been doing lead line and horse showing her whole life, but last summer she was just overtaken by fear. She still wanted to ride, and we’d go to the barn and get the horse all tacked up, but when it came time to get on the horse, she would start shaking from head to toe.”

AQHA Professional Horsemen will accept donations for the AQHA Professional Horsemen’s Crisis Fund during the free Ride the Pattern Clinics, presented by Nutrena, at the 2020 Farnam AQHA World Championship Show. The clinics will air live on AQHA’s Facebook page, as AQHA Professional Horsemen from around the country share important tips on how they would complete a specific pattern from the show. Ride the Pattern attendees must abide by the Farnam AQHA World Health Protocols and social-distancing mandates to watch the clinics in-person.

Upon arrival, all attendees will sign a COVID release and receive a wrist band that they must wear throughout the event. Mask will be required anytime an attendee can not maintain social distancing and at all times while indoors. Exhibitors riding or working their horses are not required to wear mask. Please have your horse health papers and coggins to present upon arrival.
