The CWA voted on and approved a statement recommending that Equestrian remain on the Emerging Sports list due to new organizational efforts, membership feedback, and potential growth. The goal of the National Advisory Board is to develop the financial support to make Equestrian the first financially-independent non-revenue generating collegiate sport.

Judges Scott Neuman, Karen Graham, Jonathan Meilleur, and Dean Bogart determined Parrish and This Girlz On Fire to be the winner in a class of 21 entries. Parrish was in the saddle for owners K&L Quarter Horses/Bamford B, who received a $15,000 check for the win.
