– AQHA will amend its current rule that prohibits the use of dye or other substances to alter or hide natural markings to also include the prohibition of dye to hide abuse.
– AQHA will prohibit the use of belly bands at AQHA events starting June 1, 2016.

AQHA Announces Rule Change: “Disqualification of Exhibitors For Attire that Would Give Unfair Advantage” Effective June 1st

AQHA judges will now have the authority to also disqualify exhibitors for any piece of accouterment or attire that would give an exhibitor an unfair advantage. The Executive Committee approved additional rule changes specifically for showmanship, horsemanship and hunt seat equitation classes.
