Blue Ribbon Color Spectacular is Coming to WestWorld March 12-13!

The 2016 Blue Ribbon Color Spectacular is scheduled to take place March 12-13 at WestWorld in Scottsdale, Arizona. Sponsored by Blue Ribbon Custom Tack and produced by the Arizona Paint Horse Association and Arizona Appaloosa Association, this show will include two sets of points over two days. Judges will be Mark McCarthy, Curt Summers, Dan Mannion, and Doug LaSota.
The event will not only offer Paint, Pinto, and Appaloosa breed classes, it will also provide Blue Ribbon Open Show classes for all breeds.
Five work saddles will be randomly draw for at the end of the show: one for each organization/breed and one additional work saddle. For each class an exhibitor enters, he/she will receive a ticket for the saddle drawing. There will also be a random drawing for a silver show saddle that will be open to every exhibitor. Also, one show halter will be randomly presented to a competitor. For each halter class an exhibitor enters, he/she will receive a ticket for the halter drawing., Also, there will be even more prizes in every class!
All Around buckles will be awarded to four Blue Ribbon Top Exhibitor/Horse combinations including:
- Blue Ribbon Open Horse Show All Breed All Around Champion
- Blue Ribbon Open Horse Show All Breed All Around Reserve Champion
- Blue Ribbon Open Horse Show All Breed All Around 1st Runner up
- Blue Ribbon Open Horse Show All Breed All Around 2nd Runner up
Classes that will receive buckles by Blue Ribbon Custom Tack include:
- BR All Breed English Equitation- Open
- BR All Breed Western Pleasure Walk-Jog- All Ages
- Appaloosa Horsemanship Youth 18 and under
- Appaloosa Non Pro Camas Prairie Stump Race
- Paint Showmanhip Novice Amateur
- Paint Hunter Under Saddle- All Ages
- Pinto Hunter Under Saddle Youth 18 and Under
- Pinto Western Pleasure- All Ages
BR All Breed Ranch Riding will be sponsored by Kuhlwein Custom Homes. Also, as an added bonus, custom medals will be awarded to the first and second place winners in each of the BR All Breed classes and to each of the BR All Breed Lead Line 6 and under exhibitors. But that’s not all. Blue Ribbon will also be sponsoring 25 custom medals for each breed- Paint, Pinto, and Appaloosa.

West World is being proactive in the protection of their equine exhibitors and the APHC is supporting their requirements. As a result, a negative Coggins, dated within the previous 12 months, must accompany all horses brought onto the WestWorld property. A health certificate, dated within the previous thirty days, must be presented for any horse originating outside of Arizona.
Stalls don’t come with bedding. You must call WestWorld Feed and Bedding at 480-312-6814 to arrange for bedding.
