2015 Quarter Horse Congress Futurities are Now Open to Multiple Breeds, APHA, ApHC, PHBA, and More…

Changes are happening with the All American Quarter Horse Congress Futurity Programs!

Materials for the 49th annual All American Quarter Horse Congress futurities and sweepstakes will be available soon. Entries for the Congress Futurities are due on April 1st while the entries for stakes classes are due on August 25th, with regular entries.

The Congress Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle Futurity and Stakes classes will now be open to the following breeds/registries: AQHA, APHA, ApHC, ABRA, IBHA, PHBA and Jockey Club.

There have also been changes to the Congress Masters Program.

 

Congress Masters Western Pleasure Futurity

 

• Guaranteed $30,000 to the winner

• Ran as a futurity class instead of a slot class with no limit on entries

• Open to AQHA, APHA, ApHC, ABRA, IBHA, PHBA and Jockey Club

• 2 year-old maiden

• 100% of the entry fee is paid back

• $3,500 entry fee

 

Payments:

• April 1st – $1,000

• June 1st – $1,000

• August 1st – $1,500

• Late Fees: Received by July 1st – $250 Penalty + 1st Payment

• Received by August 1st – $500 Penalty + 1st Payment & Final Payment

• Declare Horse: August 1st

• Declare Rider: August 1st but can change up until 2:00 pm day before the class

 

Limited Awards:

• 1st – $10,000

• 2nd – $7,500

• 3rd – $5,000

Congress Masters

Hunter Under Saddle Futurity

 

• Guaranteed $15,000 to the winner

• Ran as a futurity class instead of a slot class with no limit on entries

• Open to AQHA, APHA, ApHC, ABRA, IBHA, PHBA and Jockey Club

• 2 year-old maiden

• 100% of the entry fee is paid back

• $2,500 entry fee

 

Payments:

• April 1st – $500

• June 1st – $1,000

• August 1st – $1,000

• Late Fees: Received by July 1st – $250 Penalty + 1st Payment

• Received by August 1st – $500 Penalty + 1st Payment & Final Payment

• Declare Horse: August 1st
