Best Wishes to Georgia Vernal Following Heart Surgery

Everyone here at The Equine Chronicle would like to send our best wishes for a speedy recovery to AjPHA youth competitor Georgia Vernal following recent heart surgery. Shortly before the AjPHA Youth World Show this year, it was discovered that Georgia had an inch and a half tear in her heart that needed repair; which was likely present since birth.

Georgia is an active equestrian and lacrosse player and competed uninterrupted all these years. Her mother Kim is happy to report that Georgia is now out of ICU and doing well. Her family is appreciative for the continued prayers and support from their family and friends in the industry.
