The Banixx Pinto of the Month for July is Shyannes Sassy Shot of Bourbon owned by Ruth Deters of Spring Lake, Michigan. Shyannes Sassy Shot of Bourbon, better known as Sassy, is a pleasure-type mare that owns her given name. Deters said that Sassy is feisty but also kind. The duo gives riding lessons to children and competes at local Pinto shows.

“Sassy’s favorite class would be Hunter Under Saddle, because she loves to gallop, mine however is Showmanship,” Deters says.

Every month, PtHA will randomly select a solid registry Pinto and a color registry Pinto for the Banixx Horse of the Month to be featured in the monthly e-blast and on the official Pinto Fb page. Banixx, one of PtHA’s corporate partners will be hosting the “Pinto of the Month” contest and giving a prize to the winner. Check back next month to see who will take home the prize.
