“We are excited to reconvene in-person this year with a great program,” said Caitlin Bainum, UF/IFAS Extension Marion County livestock agent. “This year, we will feature some basic but important topics such as hoof care and how to read product labels when applying your own farm herbicides and fertilizers. Attendees will get acquainted with some new rules and laws that affect the transportation of horses and the management of their farms.”

NSBA to Celebrate Seven Youth of the Year Finalists at 2021 Honors Banquet

2021 marks the first year that the NSBA Youth of the Year will be presented with a $4,000 scholarship from the Susan Scott Memorial Fund. The award is presented annually by the NSBA Foundation to a deserving youth who has gone above and beyond to exhibit exemplary character in helping others through community service. In addition to the scholarship, a $500 donation is made to the charity of choice in the winner’s name.
