Highlights included the All American Quarter Horse Congress, AQHA world championship shows and several National Arabian Shows. He served as an officer of many breed associations, including the Iowa Quarter Horse Association for more than 15 years and was on the AQHA Board of Directors 1962 to 1986. James was inducted into the halls of fame of many horse and livestock councils and associations.

Continue reading …Meet Tierney Horton from Larkspur, Colorado. Tierney shows A Sudden Top Notch, also known as Elvis, in Showmanship, Horsemanship, and Western Riding. Other than horses, Tierney also has two dogs, four goats, one lamb, and two cats. She shows her goats and sheep at 4H shows. Tierney’s favorite part of going to horse shows is showing Elvis, watching other people ride, and seeing all the talented horses go around.
