Entries received after these dates will be accepted until 6 p.m. the day prior to the class at post-entry fees.
 

Attendees of the AQHA Awards Celebration will have the opportunity to enjoy hors d’oeuvres and beverages, courtesy of Oklahoma Convention and Visitors Bureau and State Fair Park; watch the “Oscar-style” awards presentation; and listen to live entertainment, presented by Michael Murphy’s Dueling Pianos. This is sure to be a night you won’t want to miss!

This is an increase of $45,390 over the 2017 Platinum division purse, with 32 horses (as of September 10) entered to compete in 2018 World Show Platinum classes.

This year’s pattern book can be accessed on the World Show website at http://apha.com/oawcs/forms/. Printed pattern books will also be available in the APHA Horse Show Office at the Will Rogers Memorial Center during the show.

“All points earned by all horses and all exhibitors in all classes at all AQHA shows in the past three years are tabulated to calculate the level point ranges. From there, commonly used statistical measurements – such as means and standard deviations – are applied to point-earning horses and exhibitors,” said AQHA Chief Show Officer Pete Kyle. “The result is an objective handicapping system that assigns exhibitors and horses to competition levels.”

Induction into the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame is one of the highest honors bestowed by the American Quarter Horse Foundation, and the time has come to nominate men, women and horses for the Class of 2020, which will be inducted at the 2020 AQHA Convention in Las Vegas. Nominations are due November 1, 2018.
