In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Trent Parker Education Fund would be appreciated. Gene and his grandson, Trent, shared a love for horses. Gene always insisted that he would see to it that Trent’s dreams of going to veterinary school would be fulfilled. So, an education fund in memory of Gene has been set up for Trent. The education account is set up through USAA and donations may be mailed to Trent Parker Education Fund, 584 South Creek Road, Orrum, NC 28369.

The show saw an increase in several key areas over the 2017 Open/Amateur World Show including Amateur Walk-Trot classes (up 40%), Novice Amateur classes (up 8%), Amateur Solid Paint-Bred performance classes (up 15%), Amateur halter classes (up 47%), Breeders’ Futurity classes (up 12%) and added-money classes (up 42%).

It will offer more than 250 commercial exhibit spaces in a seven-acre indoor equine shopping experience, with additional outside space as well. Commercial exhibitors offer show clothing, tack, towing vehicles, trailers, equine art, jewelry, furniture, and much more!
