“Discovering that Michelle had perished was pretty much an instantaneous thing. We knew she worked between floors 101 and 105 of the north Trade Center tower, and we saw where the planes hit. I was in middle school when the tragedy happened, and I remember watching it all unfold on TV. I just knew… I got home and my mother and I just crumbled because that was it. You hoped, you prayed, but you knew… It really broke us as a family.”

It has been brought to AQHA’s attention that exhibitors from other equestrian events taking place at Oklahoma State Fair Park have received phone calls stating that State Fair Park is running short on shavings and needs to confirm shavings orders for upcoming events.

Reminder- AQHA Youth World Performance Halter Changes

If for any reason the horse does not show in a youth performance class at the Ford Youth World, the horse will be disqualified from the youth performance halter class at the Ford Youth World and will NOT be counted as an entry in such class. Any awards won in the youth performance halter class must be relinquished. Entry fees are non-refundable.

Exhibitors and fans alike can enjoy free live webcasts at the World Show throughout the event. In addition to live video services, Equine Promotion will provide a complimentary digital copy to every exhibitor for each of their classes, courtesy of APHA. Exhibitors will receive a link to their class videos automatically; no sign-up is necessary. Exhibitors can ensure they receive their videos by providing their current email address to the APHA Show Office upon check-in.

AQHA Photo Calendar Contest

To submit a photo for the contest, contestants must be current AQHA members, 18 years of age or older. You can submit up to three entries per person. Subjects in the photos need to be AQHA members and registered American Quarter Horses. You will be asked to provide the registered names of the horse(s) and the name(s)/hometown(s) of the individual(s) in your photo. Please read the complete contest rules.
