NCEA ANNOUNCES FIRST SET OF FARNAM TEAM RANKINGS OF THE SPRING
WACO, Texas – The National Collegiate Equestrian Association on Tuesday announced the latest Farnam Team Rankings for collegiate equestrian, as determined by the NCEA Selection Committee.
The Auburn Tigers hold the No. 1 spot in the first coach’s poll of the spring season. Auburn went 2-0 on the road last week against ranked opponents.
Texas A&M steps up to the No. 2 position after a win against now No. 3 SMU. South Carolina takes the No. 4 spot this week while Baylor holds at No. 5.
TCU, Oklahoma State, and Georgia come in at No. 6, 7 and 8 this week while Fresno State and UT Martin round up the top 10 at No. 9 and 10.
In action this weekend is No. 6 TCU traveling to Lynchburg, Sweet Briar and No. 4 South Carolina. No. 7 Oklahoma State travels to No. 5 Baylor for a Big 12 showdown. A triple header weekend is ahead for No. 10 UT Martin, South Dakota State, and No. 1 Auburn who will compete in Auburn, Alabama. No. 2 Texas A&M and Delaware State head to Bishop, Georgia for a triple header meet against the No. 8 Bulldogs.
