WACO, Texas – The National Collegiate Equestrian Association on Tuesday announced the latest Farnam Team Rankings for collegiate equestrian, as determined by the NCEA Selection Committee.
No. 1 Auburn remains on top of the coach’s poll with Texas A&M sliding into the No. 2 spot this week. Baylor and SMU jump up to No. 3 and No. 4. Georgia drops down to No. 5 following a loss to South Carolina last week. The No. 6, No. 7, and No. 8 spots go to TCU, Oklahoma State, and South Carolina. Rounding out the top 10 this week are No. 9 Delaware State and No. 10 Fresno State.
An action packed weekend is ahead starting with Sweet Briar College and South Dakota State traveling to UT Martin. The three teams will compete amongst one another this Thursday and Friday. No. 2 Texas A&M travels to No. 8 South Carolina this Friday for an SEC match-up. The Mississippi equestrian team travels this Friday to face No. 1 Auburn. On Saturday, No. 3 Baylor will face No. 7 Oklahoma State at home while No. 5 Georgia travels to No. 4 SMU.
