It has been brought to AQHA’s attention that exhibitors from other equestrian events taking place at Oklahoma State Fair Park have received phone calls stating that State Fair Park is running short on shavings and needs to confirm shavings orders for upcoming events.
The fraud is soliciting credit card information to confirm and hold shavings orders for the event. State Fair Park officials have confirmed they do not have a shavings shortage and will not call asking for information over the phone.
This is a scam; ignore such calls. A company name associated with the scam is Union Supply Direct with a 405 area code.
If you have been contacted by this scam or by another questionable source, please contact Heidi Lane at 806-378-4338 to report the incident.
Stalling and shavings information can be found in the qualifier packets, which were mailed at the beginning of June. Use this information to order shavings. Please contact 806-378-4338 for questions and concerns in regards to stalling and shavings.
