Around the Rings – WSQHA & Southwest WA PHC 2023 NW Emerald

The North West Emerald AQHA / APHA Show, Home of the NW Masters, hosted by the Washington Quarter Horse Association and the Southwest Washington Paint Horse Club, took place September 7- 10, 2023, at Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe, Washington.

Judges were Elizabeth Baker, Scott Merritt, Tracy Willis, Josh Tjosas, Daren Wright, and Keith Miller.

Besides all the competition, the Washington State Quarter Horse Association and SW Washington Paint Horse Club members have a great horse show social life!

Friday evening after trail, it was celebration time for The NW Emerald Masters Futurity with a Brats and Chips Party with music and entertainment, sponsored by Machine Made. They also had breakfast sandwiches on Friday morning, sponsored by the Eserjose Family and the Snohomish McDonalds Team, and breakfast on Saturday from sponsors Brandi and Tresie of Windmere Equestrian Living – The North Group.

The show also enjoyed lunch on Saturday, thanks to the sponsorship of The Equine Chronicle!  Meanwhile, EC writer Kory Kumar made another one of her now-famous EC selfie boards, and the results are hilarious!
