AQHYA World Championship Show 8-4-2022
The big talk of the evening was all about the perfect pattern Sydney Swallom laid down for the L3 14-18 Horsemanship Finals from what began as a class of 90. She had won the Bronze last year with Almost Invited, and this year, her stunning pattern earned her a unanimous win. “I was just so proud of him,” she says. “I kind of went back into awards thinking whatever happens, happens, because I was so proud of my go.” She explains that last night she felt like they had some problems with their transitions, but tonight, he went out there and listened to her very well. “He really tried his best and I’m so excited.”
Shortly before that, Emma Gore and KM Genuinely Best won the L3 13 & Under Horsemanship for the second year in a row, and for Emma, this is her fourth time winning the class. She says “Vinny” was amazing once again. “Everything about the pattern was great, and I love everything about him.”
