Around the Rings Photos and Results – 2023 SOQHA Challenge

The 2023 SOQHA Challenge from February 24-26, 2023, took place at Champions Center in Springfield, Ohio.  Judges were Garth Gooding, Tanya Green, Jake Hartman, and not only is the show always full of great competition, but it contains plenty of fun, with exhibitor parties, bagels and doughnuts for the exhibitors, and an Egg and Spoon Race, just to name a few highlights.

Here’s what the Southern Ohio Quarter Horse Association wanted to share with our readers:

“The Challenge horse show is always so much fun! In addition to the traditional high points, the Youth are able to compete for Scholarship $$. To help in their quest for Scholarship $$ they were also able to compete in some fun classes.
Bella D’Onofrio was a big winner with each of her horses. Winning both the Champion $1,500 and Reserve $1,000 in the 14-18 division.
Weston McColley, who only shows in the Small Fry Showmanship, added the 3-legged race and the boot race to win the Reserve Small Fry Scholarship $500. Congratulations to all!”
