Around the Rings Photos and Results – 2023 Dixie National QH Show

The Mississippi Quarter Horse Association recently wrapped up their acclaimed Dixie National Quarter Horse Show in Jackson, Mississippi, February 14-19, 2023. The show is entitled “The Southern Classic” for good reason, as the hospitality the South is known for was prevalent throughout the show.
To kick it off, first was the Mary Hopkins Memorial Equestrians with Disabilities Show February 7th – 8th, and the event was sponsored by the Mississippi Quarter Horse Youth Association – what that meant was there were no entry fees or stall fees, and there were wonderful prizes like the coveted Dixie National jackets! Taking part in the philanthropy were four judges who donated their time: Tom McBeath, Shawn Hays, Clay Cavinder, and Chele McGauly.

Around the Rings Photos and Results – Dixie Nationals EWD AQHA Show
The Dixie National Horse Show began on Valentine’s Day, February 14th, with judges Terry Thompson, TX; Kim Myers, PA; Keith Longacre, OK; and Doug Allen, UK.
The welcoming feel continued throughout the show with Leadline, a Stick Horse Class, and a Ride the Pattern Trail Clinic with the Man of Trail, Tim Kimura. Of course, the stiff competition continued all the way through the end of the show on February 19th, and below are the high point winners:
