Thanks to Beth Foster-Hattan for sharing this set of great photos from the recent Illinois Paint Horse Association Fall Shootout and Futurity that recently took place October 4-6 at Gordyville. During the show, the Illinois Junior Paint Horse Club hosted a wide variety of events. The raffle for a Harris work saddle was won by Lori Hodges Jackson and plenty of tickets were sold for $20 a piece, as a fundraiser.
Fred and Vanessa Cole donated a mini patch of pumpkins for the Pumpkin Decorating Contest. The display was set up all weekend and voting was held for the best pumpkin with prizes awarded for the top two. For more Fall fun, there was a Costume Class on Saturday and prizes were awarded to the top three costumes.
Other big hits included the Baked Potato Bar during the Friday evening Trail classes, the 50/50 tickets for cash prizes, and the IPHA merchandise sale.
Stay tuned for results coming soon from the show.
