New Clairvaux Vineyard has a wine-tasting tour where wine aficionados can sample vintages handcrafted by Trappist-Cistercian monks. Other options included a trip to see where Lucero Olive Oil is made or to the Lake Shasta Caverns to look for bald eagles, mountain lions, and black bears.
When it was time to head back to the show arena, there were a wide variety of open futurities and sweepstakes to choose from like 3-Year-Old Open Western Pleasure, Non Pro English Classic, 2-Year-Old Open Western Pleasure, Green Horse Western Pleasure, 3-Year-Old Non Pro Western Pleasure, English Classic, Yearling Longe Line, 2-Year-Old Non Pro Western Pleasure, 3-Year-Old Novice Horse Western Pleasure, Youth Champion of Champions, and more.
