Every year the Dixie National Quarter Horse Show celebrates and hosts the Mary Hopkins Memorial Equestrians with Disabilities AQHA Show, an EWD show sponsored by the Mississippi Quarter Horse Youth Association.
The show just celebrated its 25th anniversary February 4-5, 2025, in Jackson, Mississippi, at the Kirk Fordice Equine Center, offering four judges with AQHA/NSBA/PHBA classes running concurrently. Every year, this gem of a show hosts EWD riders from across the country with no stall fees and no entry fees, due to the generosity of its sponsors and its volunteers, including the judges, show coordinator, announcers, show secretary and many more who make the show run like clockwork.
The Dixie National Horse Show hosts highlights like the Ride the Trail Pattern clinic with Tim Kimura, as well as the Dixie National Expo All Week, and over $70,000 in prizes and added money.
