April 3-9, 2023, marked the dates for the OQHA Oregon Classic Show held at the Oregon Horse Center, centrally located in Eugene, Oregon.
It’s the Oregon Quarter Horse Association’s premier show offering 350+ classes, 8 judges, 2 circuits, and AQHA, NSBA, & All Breed classes.
Monday – Friday judges were Tom McBeath, Chele McGauley, Mark Russell, and John Tuckey. Wednesday – Sunday judges were Sandy Curl, Lori Gordon, Carly Veldman-Parks, and Daren Wright.
OQHA pulls out all the stops for this one, with 11 Harris Saddles up for grabs, Custom Jackets awarded in All Breed Classes, a Ranch Riding Shootout with a Saddle Awarded, and Champion Buckles & Reserve Champion Jackets for AQHA classes.

The exhibitors also enjoyed Voo Doo Donuts, Crumbl Cookies, and a pizza party, sponsored by The Equine Chronicle, plus an Easter Egg Hunt!
