Around the Rings – 2023 MQHA Harbor Classic
The Michigan Quarter Horse Association Harbor Classic is underway July 2-8, 2023, at the Mason County Fairgrounds in Ludington, Michigan!
The show offers 6 AQHA horse shows and NSBA dual approved classes, and the judges are Mike Hoeppner, Michele Pearson, Josh Tjosaas, Mark Baus, Robin Frid, and Valerie Kearns.

First up, a gallery of images of the Trainers Showmanship class from Katie Barrett, Nicole McConnell, and Carson Brunner! The class was held in support of the Michigan Quarter Horse Youth Association, and it offered a prize for Most Patriotic with Morgan Lantz as the winner, and a prize for the loudest cheering section, with Jeff Moody as that winner! JB Performance Horses and clients sponsored the prizes, and Jim Roth volunteered his skills with the microphone.
Carson Brunner reports a total of $2500 raised for the MQHA Youth Association. Way to go, trainers!
The support for the youth continued with a dog race to raise funds for MQHYA, to the tune of $1,600 raised.
