From Kathy Avolt of An Equine Production (hunt for the horses’ registered names!):
The GQHA Classic is underway in Perry, GA with mild temperatures & smiling faces. Its A Absolute Thril to see so many new exhibitors. We had two first time AQHA exhibitors yesterday. The Affiliate Advisory Board for AQHA is asking every show to ask if someone is a first time exhibitor. There is a simple form in the office for them to fill out. AQHA will send them a ‘surprise’ after the results are processed. A great way for these exhibitors to be recognized. We had some Strait Southern tunes playing over the speakers and while we may have been Made In May, we are Certainly Well Made for some laughter and good jokes at the back gate. It might have been Open Mic Nite because there were Drinks At A Goodbar. The Best N The House might have been Glenn who was Dressed All Fancy trying to play Rock Paper Scissorz. Shane was Lookin Southern on his ranch horses but he was Too Hot To Frisk at the gate. Miss Terri was Born Fabulous and Musta Got Lucky with her trail horse today, because she did not think it was a Presidential Royalty level. Dawn said there is Never Enuff Sleep at a show, but she was Sippin On Champagne at the end of the day.
