The Florida Color Horse Club just finished up their Gator Classic, April 28-30, 2023, at Alachua Country Agriculture & Equestrian Center in Newberry, Florida.
It was an APHA/ApHC/All Breed 2 Judge Show with judges Cindy Chilton-Moore and Kit Kope, and the APHA and ApHC Classes ran concurrently.

The club has experienced such growth, they expanded their show to start with Trail on Friday at 5 P.M., and they added Open All Breed Ranch Conformation classes, ApHC Youth Walk Trot High Points, and an Exhibitor Appreciation Dinner Sponsored by the Florida Color Horse Club with End Cap Hosts providing desserts!
The ApHC Show Manager was James Hour, and the APHA Show Manager was Randall Roser.
“During the Exhibitor Appreciation BBQ, we hosted the Gator Egg Roll with prizes sponsored by Ritzy Pony Boutique,” explains Roser. “Friday and Saturday we had a Gator Hunt where exhibitors searched the grounds for Gators to win Bluetooth Speakers, Ear Buds, Free Stalls and more.”
