AQHA competitors gathered at the beautiful Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers over the weekend for the 2015 Pro-Am Circuit. Judges Kendra Weis, Jonathan Meilleur, Sissy Anderson, and Bruce Walquist were charged with the task of determining the winners in some very competitive classes.
The highly popular Leveled classes were among the largest in size with the biggest turnout seen in Trail and Western Performance events.
The big winners in some of the largest classes of the show included Michael Colvin with Onlyafraid Inthedark in L1 Trail and Mark Stevens with Investin A Good Bar in Senior Trail. A fun double win took place in 13 and Under Horsemanship and 14-18 Horsemanship for Jillian Stopperich with Invested Pine Asset and Paige Stopperich with Cowboys R Hot, respectively. The sisters then added to their winning streak by also claiming circuit champion titles in 13 and Under Equitation and 14-18 Equitation.
Western Pleasure circuit champion titles were won by Shane Pope with Itsthemoonshinetalkn in Junior, Gabrielle Capron with KM Zip Me Suddenly in Amateur, and Cory Freilich with Justa Good Version in 14-18.
