Around the Ring Photos and Results From 2020 Silver Dollar Circuit

The 2020 Silver Dollar Circuit kicked off over the weekend at the South Point Equestrian Center to much fanfare in Viva Las Vegas style! The show will continue throughout this week, concluding on February 26th. Judging the event this year is Brad Jewett, Kelly Chapman, Jeff Allen, Jimmy Daurio, Garth Gooding, Jeff Greaves, Valerie Kearns, Jennifer Leckey, Buddy Fisher, Judd Paul, Beckey Schooler, and Tracy Willis.
There are a few new additions to the show this year, which also sports a new show management team in An Equine Production. There was a new flat rate option, no pre-entries, and a new Silver Dollar Stakes Series with lots of added money.
On Friday, the show kicked off with a selection of Trail classes, including the L2 Senior Trail Stakes with Tacos on the Mezzanine. The winner was Ashley Dunbar Clock with HP Satin Dream, who received $1,300 for Janee and Dominic Pugliani. The Reserve Champion was Nancy Alto-Renfro with I Look Extremely Hot, who won $900 for Taylor Brown. Third was Andrea Kail with Movin The Chains, who won $650 for Julie Hoefling. Fourth was Deanna Searles with Hereicomeagain, winning $550 for Kathy Tobin.
Fifth was Will Knabenshue with Party Favors, winning $425 for Kara Sisco. Sixth was Kelly Hinely with Good Money Machine, winning $385 for Oak Spring Ranch, LLC. Seventh was Leslie Lange with Rumors Inthe Dark, winning $350 for Kendra Whitney. Eighth was Anthony Montes with Absolute Best Asset, winning $350 for Elizabeth Brown. Ninth was Barbara Fletcher with Zippos Tabitha. Tenth was Jess Bergantzel with High Road Reload for Carey Wimer.
Winning the Maturity Non Pro Western Pleasure was Susie Johns with KM Flat Out The Best. They took home $1,080 for their efforts. Reserve was Courtney Archer with UF Rockin The House. Third was Kathy Tobin with Hereicomegain. Fourth was Jean Buchmann with VS Code Diva Alert.
Silver Stakes winners included Jean Swiss and A Blazing Reflection, who won $1,080 in the Level 2 Select Horsemanship and Caroline Gunn with Mind On My Money, who won $1,054 in the Level 2 Amateur Horsemanship.
