AQHA Youth Skillathon Contest

Racing enthusiasts are challenged to learn about American Quarter Horse racing and test their knowledge in the online Racing Skillathon Contest.

The 2021 contest is free and open to anyone to take online; AQHA membership is not required and there are no age restrictions. Participants need only study the materials linked below and then take the online test that will be open for a limited time, September 13-18.

Questions are multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, true/false and short essay.

Youth applying for the AQHYA National Racing Experience are required to participate in the Racing Skillathon Contest; their results will count toward their cumulative total in the program. As a reminder, applications for the 2021 National Youth Racing Experience are due September 10.

The AQHYA National Racing Experience is held in conjunction with the AQHA Bank of America Challenge Championships, October 21-24, at The Downs at Albuquerque Racetrack in Albuquerque, New Mexico. For more information, visit www.aqha.com/youth-racing-experience.
