AQHA Region Five exhibitors are preparing for the 2020 AQHA Region Five Championships, which is August 26 at the Gloucester County Dream Park in Logan Township, New Jersey. The AQHA Regional Championships provide American Quarter Horse enthusiasts a chance to test their horse-showing skills.
The Region Five Championships features a single-day event packed with a variety of classes, starting with Level 1 amateur showmanship at 8 a.m. on August 26. AQHA Professional Horseman and judge Mike Hawkins will judge the event. For a full show itinerary and entry form, visit www.njqha.com/shows. Pre-entries closed August 10, however, exhibitors still have the option to enter at the event.
Regions Two and Six are also tentatively slated to hold Regional Championships this year. Exhibitors from every region are invited to attend a regional championships of their choice, but an exhibitor can only compete at one regional championships per year.
AQHA sponsors a full array of champion buckles for Regional Championship class winners in Level 1 competition. Adequan®, the official joint therapy of AQHA, also generously provides champion buckles for regional Level 2 class winners.
