From AzQHA:
Entry numbers are in for the AQHA L1 Championship West, being held in Las Vegas at the South Point Equestrian Center May 14-18.
Already there are 100 more horses than showed in 2023, and late entries are still being taken until April 15th. The decision to move to the Las Vegas venue was enthusiastically received when announced and the popularity of the L1 Championships have made the show a treasured goal for many exhibitors. South Point’s arenas offer a true championship experience in which to showcase the dedication, hard work and achievements of AQHA members.
The L1 Championship immediately follows Arizona Quarter Horse Association’s Pinnacle Circuit, May 11-14, which offers a full slate of classes for all levels. The schedules for Pinnacle and the L1 Championship have been carefully planned to facilitate the needs of all exhibitors at every level.
“We’re are really excited to see the response for the two shows,” says producer Doug Huls. “The move has been extremely positive. Exhibitors and their families love South Point. It is also a convenient location to cover all the western states, allowing more people to come.”
In addition to great awards, both shows will have the welcoming environment, infectious camaraderie and fun atmosphere for which AzQHA shows are famous.
