AQHA Hall of Fame Unveils New Educational Website

The American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum recently re-vamped its website, making access easier with new features and user-friendly options.

The updated site provides information needed to plan a trip to the Hall of Fame, including links for directions, hours and much more! The site also gives visitors a glimpse of what they will experience during their visit.

“More and more travelers are using the Web to plan their trips,” said Melissa Loftin, manager of community outreach at the Hall of Fame & Museum.  “Our aim is to make sure potential visitors get the information they want.”

Online versions of museum exhibits allow visitors to explore the history of the American Quarter Horse. The site promotes education through the “Learn” section, as well. This section provides lesson plans, resources for research and information about museum outreach programs.

“It is our responsibility to make sure AQHA members have access to learning more about the breed’s history,” Loftin said. “Plus, this allows us to reach people outside of the horse industry that may not know the impact the American Quarter Horse has played in U.S. history.”

Visitors can access detailed histories of each person and horse that has been inducted into the Hall of Fame. This feature allows visitors to learn about the people and horses that have shaped the history of the American Quarter Horse and stay up-to-date on new inductees.
