The American Quarter Horse Association filed its Reply Brief to Plaintiffs’ Brief in the cloning lawsuit with the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Click here for a link to the Reply Brief. AQHA is very pleased with the work of our appellate team.

The parties have requested oral argument before a Fifth Circuit panel of judges. Generally, the Fifth Circuit sends out a notice setting oral argument three to four months after the Reply Brief is filed (July-August 2014). The actual oral argument then generally takes place one to two months later (September-October 2014). However, such timeline is dependent on the Fifth Circuit’s schedule and is subject to change. AQHA will continue to keep you updated regarding the appeal.
